Damilola Adeparusi, the young chef now fondly addressed as Chef Dammy after attempting to break Hilda Bachi Official Guinness World Record this year 2023 was sued by her pastor for 20 Million Naira damages.
In a surprising reaction, the founder of Spirit World Global Mission, Prophet Jeremiah Adegoke has taken a legal action against Chef Dammy after she publicly called him out online stating that she will hold her pastor responsible for any harm that might befall her.
Chef Dammy who is a 300-level Mass Communication undergraduate at the Federal University of Oye Ekiti. Besides being a chef, Damilola is also a poet, songwriter, and editor.
The conflict between Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, and her pastor, Adegoke Jeremiah, has gotten messier as the cleric has dragged her to court. In a released document dated October 23, 2023, Pastor Jeremiah demanded, that Chef Dammy retracts her earlier outburst against him across social media platforms and in two widely read national dailies.
He further went to sue her for N20 million as payment for the act of defamation laid against him.
This news came as a shock to Nigerians who thought Pastor Jeremiah and Dammy were at good terms after sponsoring her on the Cook-a-Thon challenge by breaking the Guinness Book of Record for the longest time cooking which is being held currently by Hilda Bachi.
