Sam Larry Reveals He Gave Mohbad 2M To Perform For His Mum’s Burial

Balogun Olamilekan Eletu commonly known as Sam Larry, a music promoter who was recently arrested by the Nigerian Police Force it was confirmed by Benjamin Hundeyin, Police public relations officer, Lagos State Command, on his X (Twitter) page, he was accused for the death of Nigerian Icon and Music star Mohbad also known as ileri.

Sam Larry has come out to say that he gave Mohbad 2 Million Naira to perform at his mother’s burial after many threatenings, accusations and slandering of him killing the talented music star mohbad.

Sam Larry allegedly claimed in the statement that he later traveled to Kenya to find a new African musician to perform at his mother’s annual remembrance and he has been away since August 20, even before Mohbad died.

He also said he does not have hand in the death of the Musician Mohbad. In the statement released Sam Larry asked Mohbad for a refund but the singer claimed that he lost his phone and money after the NDLEA raided where he was staying so he was broke.

In a statement Sam Larry issued on his snapchat page He said, “2 year’s ago, I gave Ileri N2m to perform at my mother’s annual remembrance concert at Ikorodu, he boy never turned up, so I called him to ask why?, He then said he was not feeling well & when I asked for a refund, he said he lost his phone & money recently when the NDLEA raided his place in the process & since he was leaving Marlian Records, he is now broke, with no commitment to repay

In his defense the statement is to clear the air about what people think or say about him in as much as some people will not buy the idea of what he said, there will still be doubts about what he said until the result of the investigation arrives from the  Nigerian Police Force.
