President Tinubu arrives Ondo On Official Visit

OndoPresident Bola Tinubu has arrived in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, for an official visit to the state.

The Nigerian Air Force jet transporting the president and his delegation landed at Akure Airport precisely at 11:35 AM on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Upon arrival, he was greeted by the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and his counterpart from Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, along with other high-ranking government officials and notable politicians.


Our correspondent at the airport captured the scene as a presidential parade was arranged at the terminal to welcome the President to the Sunshine State.

During his stay in the state, the President will visit the Palace of the Olowo of Owo and the late former governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s residence in Owo for a condolence visit.

Additionally, he will pay respects at the residence of Pa Reuben Fasoranti in Akure.

Furthermore, the President is scheduled to visit the palace of the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye, and the families of the late former governor of the state, Oluwarootimi Akereodolu, also in Owo.

Tinubu is also set to make a courtesy call to the residence of Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the National Leader of the Pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organization Afenifere, in Akure.
